Dueling Covers
Via Paul Krugman:
When the GOP won the congress in 1994, they won nationally by 7 points and held 230 seats. This was the cover of the following week's Time Magazine.
When the Democrats won the congress back in 2006, nationally they won by 8.5 points and held 233 seats. This was the cover of the following week's Time Magazine.
