Steve Gilliard passed today. He had been blogging for five years, which means forever in net terms. His writing and knowledge are being remembered through the blogosphere. What I talked to Steve about last was soccer though. He and I have the bug for soccer and for cooking. I didn't know him well, but his example was inspiring.
US plays China on ESPN2 tonight in a soccer friendly. While watching, I will be thinking about Gilly. US 4 China 1
