Wanted: Toady For Dick Cheney In Thankless Position

The White House wants to appoint a high-powered czar to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with authority to issue directions to the Pentagon, the State Department and other agencies, but it has had trouble finding anyone able and willing to take the job, according to people close to the situation.

Come on, this is the bestest job in the world! You know going in what your duties are in this position. You can not change course in Iraq, you can not compromise with congress, you must do whatever Dick Cheney says. I am very shocked that three generals turned down this sweet position already.

One of the generals decided to give his corneas to science, and sell blood plasma as a a more dignified way to raise some money. He really doesn't know what he is missing. There is excitement, blame, yet no real authority. Who can't pass an opportunity like this up!
