Hillary Clinton Triangulates The Confederate Flag Issue

ORANGEBURG, S.C. -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that South Carolina should remove the Confederate flag from its Statehouse grounds, in part because the nation should unite under one banner while at war.

"I think about how many South Carolinians have served in our military and who are serving today under our flag and I believe that we should have one flag that we all pay honor to, as I know that most people in South Carolina do every single day," Clinton told The Associated Press in an interview.

Oh, that is the bestest reason of all oh triangulator maximus. Could it be that you could be honest and say that the confederate flag is considered by many african-americans and other people who aren't racist as a symbol of oppression? No, not that, it might offend the key knuckle dragging constituency. You also couldn't mention the fact that the South was in criminal succession, and they lost the damned war, and the flag is a symbol of a group of people who tried to break this country apart and over 600,000 people died in the process.

Nah, it's all about unity in the time of George W. Bush's great war on terror. This is what pisses people off about Hillary. Me, in particular. Would Hillary Clinton of 1972 have produced such mealy mouthed bullshit? Anybody who thinks so probably ingested way too much of substances being commonly ingested that year.

Hillary Clinton, because it's a dire situation traumatizing our nation, has offered a bill to ban burning the U.S. flag. This was what she was fighting for in the 60's. She just hoped one day her generation could get in power to do such important things that 'the man' was surpressing. Perhaps we can get her opinion on burning the South Carolina flag. Wow, she might have to re-hire Dick Morris, and let byegones be byegones to figure out the most mealy mouthed approach to that.
