Bush Still Rejects The Reality Based World

For those who believed that hiring Texas crony Karen Hughes as our ambassador to the world was a bad idea, you ain't seen nothing yet. Her replacement is one James K. Glassman. The name might sound familiar.

Back in 2000, Glassman had the fortunate timing of co-authoring a book entitled 'Dow 36,000' which received quite a bit of buzz at the time. He argued that stocks were undervalued for decades and we were about to see the Dow explode to stratospheric heights. The Dow hasn't hit 36,000 yet (Full disclosure: I didn't look at the market close today). His kind of original thinking is just what Bush thinks was ordered.

We are doomed.
