Black Friday
Watching 'Good Morning America' this morning, I half expected the "journalists" to be wearing pom poms and cheerleading outfits with the Visa logo across the chest. While you need to show balance for global warming, the pursuit of gluttonous consumption needs no counter.
The report brayed about the 133 million people hitting the malls. A reporter on scene showed the shoes she bought at 50% off! Embarassment finally must have hit hold, where they admitted at the end that 136 million people shopped this day last year.
Around 11 today, I went to the Target to buy some baby diapers. The lot was not full, and checkout was less than one minute. Ya figure stories like that will make the news?
