Home At Last
We had a wonderful time at a skating party at a roller rink today for a family birthday, save for one incident. A teenaged boy who was not in our group, fell and broke his ankle. My brother in law and I helped him to the benches. My first thoughts weren't is he ok. It was, I hope his mother has health insurance.
The toddler kept his skates on for three hours and refused to take them off no matter how many times he fell. By the end, he was able to stand up on his own and skate a bit on the carpet unassisted, on the rink not so much.
Will be back to posting regularly tomorrow. It's been a long day.
