Down The Internet Tubes
Now that the FBI and IRS are raiding Ted Stevens' house in Alaska, it would be nice to point out that the entire delegation appears to be crooked. Lisa Murkowski and Don Young aren't such fine upstanding citizens as well. Alaska politics is funny. I lived up there in the late 80's and there is a big libertarian streak in the state, but they end up voting for typical GOP tools.
Tony Knowles was being talked up as a democratic candidate for state office when I was there 20 years ago, and is today. When you consider how few people live in the state, the politics is very incestuous, as is apparently the corruption.
