Anybody remember that 80's movie 'Born In East L.A.' with Cheech Marin, who played a guy born and raised in LA who was erroneously deported to Mexico?
Well, it's played out in real life now with possibly tragic results. A 29 year old developmentally delayed adult who was born in Los Angeles was deported to Tijuana by the LA Sherriff's department. He was arrested for tresspassing at a Airplane junkyard, given 120 days in jail, and shipped off south of the border. It's been May 11th since anybody has heard from him. Our government and the Mexican officials refuse to help.
