The Wildly Unpopular President George W. Bush

Well George Bush has finally surpassed his father. According to the latest Newsweek poll, Bush is at 28%. He beats his father's lowest point total, tying carter as the most unpopular President in 30 years. For those of us who are democrats, perhaps it would be a bit too much to ask for the media to continually refer to him as the wildly unpopular President Bush every time he is mentioned.

All the way through 2003, most time when Bush was riding high in the polls, he was referred to as "wildly popular" even when he was barely cracking 50%. I think at 28%, tying Carter's worst numbers, it might be time to be "fair and balanced" and do the opposite as well.
