A Random Thought Early In The Morning

David Broder has recently suggested that the democrats should decline investigating Bush and challenging him on the war, even though the voters elected them to do those things He suggests that they should focus on legislating instead. What exactly should they legislate that he won't veto? What bills can they pass with a 2/3 majority that Broder thinks is a good idea? My guess is that Broder wants them to pass George Bush's agenda while they are busy appeasing him elsewhere. He has that tiny modicum of shame and fear of being stoned that prevents him from saying it.
