Republican Party Financier Linked To Terrorism

Imagine our surprise when a New York businessman who claims to be on a White House advisory committee was indicted today for financing terrorism. It turns out that Abdul Tawala Alishtari is a donor to the Republican party. The 53-year-old self-described “industrialist and philanthropist” is accused of an investment scam that allegedly netted Islamic militants in Afghanistan and Pakistan more than $150,000.

Before he allegedly wired funds to support terrorist training camps and buy recruits gear like night vision goggles, Alishtari gave $15,500 to the National Republican Campaign Committee between 2002 and 2004, according to Federal Election Commission records. That amount includes $13,000 in 2003, a year when he claims to have been named NRCC New York State Businessman of the Year.

Alishtari also claims to be a lifetime member of the National Republican Senate Committee’s Inner Circle, which the NRCC describes as “an impressive cross section of American society -- community leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, retirees, and sports and entertainment celebrities -- all of whom hold a deep interest in our nation's prosperity and security.”

I will treat this news with the respect and decorum that the Republic(an) Party would use in treating such a development if it turned out that this man had cut five figure checks to the Democratic Party.

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it....

This just goes to prove once and for all that the Republican Party is in bed with terrorists through out the world. I mean, this guy was probably helping fund Osama Bin Laden, who you may have noticed hasn't been caught, and who tends to try to help the Republican campaigns. Is it a coincidence? I don't think so.

Those businessmen in Saudi Arabia who love Bandar Bush and the rest of his extended family know they have friends in the GOP and that is why they continue to support them. The Republicans probably took this money as a bribe in exchange for our troops not being well equipped so that we wouldn't actually be accomplishing much in this war.

Republicans claim that Bush is not an incompetent hack, but have you seen the results? These direct payments from terrorists lead me to believe that the President's defenders are correct. There is no disaster in the middle east. Our incompetence is actually a secret plan to fail and to grow the terrorist movement paid for with hard cash from Republican financiers like Abdul Tawala Alishtari.

Do the Republicans hate America and want it to be destroyed? Some people are speculating about this. Is it irresponsible to ask such a question? I think it would be irresponsible to not investigate this as a responsibility especially when tens of thousands of dollars have changed hands here.

Sure, we may have put wires to people's genitals, but they were suicide torture victims. For the cause of the Republican party they probably volunteered to have chemical lights placed in their genitals, all for furthering the Republican/Osama cause as the example of Republican financier Abdul Tawala Alishtari shows us.

I quote Abraham Lincoln when I say, "What dicks!", and would like to personally state for the record that the Democratic Party was not receiving checks from Republican financier Abdul Tawala Alishtari.
